End attacks on Hagit Ofran and Neve Shalom

Hagit Ofran is director of Peace Now's Settlement Watch.
Recently she was subjected to vile attacks.

Here is a statement from Meretz UK:

The threats to Hagit Ofran reflect the growing lawless of settlement supporters who feel they have been given a green light by the Netanyahu government. Such attacks underline that the internationally illegal settlements are also eroding democratic rights in Israel.

Earlier there were also assaults on Neve Shalom.
We have a statement on that too...

The apparent settler “price-tag” attack on the Israeli Jewish-Arab Village Neve Shalom/Wahat al Salam is another example of the sickness of the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territory. The attack which took place on Friday, June 8, consisted of racist graffiti including the notorious “Death to Arabs” as well as the slashing of tires and other damage. The village provides an example of the possibilities of Jewish-Arab cooperation based on mutual respect which can provide the basis for peace. The occupation since June 1967 has transformed Israel into a colonial power which has brutalized the Palestinians and stolen their land for settlements. The current Netanyahu government has intensified settlement policy while refusing to open any meaningful negotiations with the Palestinian leadership of President Mahmoud Abbas. The thugs who carried out the attack on Neve Shalom/Wahat al Salam represent the accrued racism of a colonial occupation that is now 45 years old. As Marx famously said a “nation that rules another can never be free.” Israel can only defeat the racist thugs by moving decisively to end the occupation and to recognize a Palestinian state in the 1967 borders.
